VNI-011-Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032

This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the provision of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to support temporary overlay works across Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues. HVAC systems will be required to ensure safe, comfortable, and compliant environments for athletes, officials, workforce, media, and spectators in both indoor and enclosed temporary spaces. HVAC systems will be required for Portable Buildings, Tent Structures and also within existing facilities. For HVAC to Portable Buildings, Brisbane 2032 estimates a requirement across 30-40 venues for HVAC different types of cabins of between 40,000m2 and 60,000m2. For HVAC to Tent Structures, Brisbane 2032 estimates that HVAC will be required for a percentage of tents, across 40 to 50 competition and key noncompetition venues – approximately 50,000 to 100,000m2 of tents will require HVAC. Integration of temporary systems into existing sports halls will be required to ensure compliant environments for Sport requirements, officials, workforce, media, and spectators. Design and engineering coordination of Sport and broadcast-grade lighting systems and all other rigging elements. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and removal of temporary HVAC systems including: Portable air conditioning units Split systems and ducted solutions Ventilation fans and extraction systems Heaters and dehumidifiers where required Associated ducting, cabling, and control systems. Provision of HVAC solutions for a variety of overlay spaces including athlete lounges, media centres, broadcast compounds, medical rooms, catering areas, and workforce hubs. Integration with existing venue infrastructure and overlay fitout works. Compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and operational requirements including noise, emissions, and energy efficiency. Maintenance and operational support during Games-time, including temperature monitoring and fault response. Decommissioning and removal of all temporary HVAC infrastructure postGames, with consideration for reuse or sustainable disposal. Respondents should demonstrate experience in supplying and managing HVAC systems for large-scale, multi-site events or infrastructure programs, with the capability to respond flexibly to evolving venue conditions and operational needs.
