About this tender

This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the provision of temporary lift systems to support accessibility, logistics, and operational requirements across Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues. Temporary lifts will be required to facilitate vertical transport in overlay structures, existing facilities, and other Games-time environments where permanent lift infrastructure is not available or sufficient. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: Supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and removal of temporary lift systems including: Passenger lifts for accessibility and general use Freight and service lifts for equipment and goods movement Platform lifts and stair lifts for limited mobility access Provision of lift systems suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including integration with existing structure and temporary overlay structures such as media platforms, hospitality suites, and workforce compounds. Compliance with relevant Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC), and Games-specific technical specifications, with relevant building, safety, and accessibility standards, including WHS regulations, DDA requirements, and temporary structure codes. Coordination with venue teams, overlay contractors, and accessibility consultants to ensure appropriate placement, capacity, and operational readiness. Maintenance and operational support during Games-time, including emergency response protocols and fault resolution. Decommissioning and removal of all temporary lift infrastructure postGames, with consideration for reuse or sustainable disposal. Respondents should demonstrate experience in supplying and managing temporary lift systems for large-scale, multi-site events or infrastructure programs, with proven capability in logistics, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
