This package seeks to engage experienced suppliers for the design, supply, installation, and removal of temporary grandstands and seating systems to support spectators, Games stakeholders and operational needs across Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games venues. These systems will be critical to ensuring safe, comfortable, and accessible viewing experiences at both competition and non-competition sites. Brisbane 2032 estimates a requirement across 25-35 competition and key noncompetition venues for temporary seats of between 200,000 and 250,000. The scope of work may include, however is not limited to: • Design and engineering of modular grandstand systems suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including: o Tiered seating structures for spectators suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. o Flat-floor seating arrangements for ceremonies and hospitality areas. o Accessible seating platforms compliant with Disability Discrimination Act o Media seating areas with enhanced finishes and integrated services. o Integration with overlay structures such as platforms for tents, cabins. • Supply, delivery, installation, and removal of seating infrastructure including: o Individual seats, benches, and foldable seating. o Handrails, access stairs, ramps, and edge protection. o Branding and wayfinding integration. • Coordination with venue teams, overlay contractors, and event operators to ensure timely deployment and operational readiness • Compliance with relevant Australian Standards, National Construction Code (NCC), and Games-specific technical specifications, with relevant building, safety, and accessibility standards, including WHS regulations, DDA requirements, and temporary structure codes. • Compliance with latest guides, eg Guide to safety at sports grounds (Green Guide) • Operational support services, including: o Inspection and maintenance during pre-Games and Games-time phases o Rapid response for repairs or adjustments due to weather or operational needs o Coordination with other service providers to ensure seamless venue operations. • Decommissioning and site restoration post-Games, with consideration for reuse, modularity, and sustainable disposal. Respondents should demonstrate experience in supplying and managing temporary seating and grandstand systems for large-scale international events, with proven capability in logistics, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
