Overview The T2D Alliance (SA) is seeking organisations interested in the reuse, repurposing or recovery of approximately 6,000 surplus steel drums from the North-South Corridor: Torrens to Darlington section project. About The drums are 200 to 250 litre capacity and weigh approximately 17kg each. They are already becoming available, with peak volumes expected in the next six months and ongoing availability through to October 2027. The project is prioritising reuse and circular economy outcomes ahead of scrap recycling. Scope The scope includes: Acquisition of some or all of approximately 6,000 surplus steel drums (200-250L capacity, approximately 17kg each) Reuse, repurposing or recovery of the surplus steel drums Instructions to Respondents Organisations interested in acquiring some or all of the drums are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest.
