About this tender
Overview Tasmanian Railway Pty Ltd (TasRail) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and competent rail works contractor to undertake the Conara Junction Remodelling works. About The Australian Government and Tasmanian Government have committed to co-investing up to $120 million towards the jointly funded Tranche Four of the Tasmanian Rail Revitalisation Program. This will see priority sections of the Tasmanian Rail Network upgraded over a four-year period between 2024 and 2028. Scope Undertaking the Conara Junction Remodelling works Carrying out works in conformance with the documents issued or referenced in the tender Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified, experienced and competent in rail works Contract Terms and Conditions TasRail anticipates awarding the contract between December 2026 and January 2027, taking the holiday season into consideration Works are to be completed as soon as practicable, but before 30 June 2027 The works are linked to required Milestone Payment Commitments to the Government Enquiries All enquiries must be sent by email to: procurement@tasrail.com.au
