Overview George Town Council is seeking a contractor to undertake design and construction of road rehabilitation works to Dalrymple Road as part of the Dalrymple Road Upgrade Stage 2. Scope The scope includes: Design and construction of road rehabilitation works to Dalrymple Road in accordance with the preliminary drawings in Appendix B Part A: design for Chainage 7250 to approximately Chainage 5100 Part A: construction for Chainage 7250 to approximately Chainage 6000 Part B: construction for Chainage 6000 to approximately Chainage 5100 Upgrade of Dalrymple Road Stage 2 from Chainage 7250 to Chainage 5100 in accordance with the LGAT Municipal Engineering Standards, the Drawings (Appendix B), the Scope of Works and Specifications, and the following design parameters: Sealed pavement width: 6.0 m Unsealed shoulder width: 0.5 m on each side Unsealed verge width: 0.5 m on each side Contract Terms and Conditions The Works are divided into Separable Portion Part A and Separable Portion Part B Council has funding available to undertake Part A Award of Part B is subject to the outcome of a current grant application and the availability of funding Council reserves the right to reduce the construction extent of Part B if full funding is not secured, with any reduction occurring from the northern end of the Works
