Overview George Town Council (TAS) is seeking a contractor to undertake the upgrade of Old Aerodrome Road, Stage 4 (CH3625 to CH5125), in accordance with LGAT Standards. Scope The works are to be carried out in accordance with LGAT Standards, noting the typical cross-section shown in Drawing TSD-R02-v3, with a sealed width of 6.5m and an unsealed verge of 0.5m wide on both sides. The scope includes: Set out works Clearing and grubbing as required Stripping of vegetation and topsoil, and stockpiling for later re-spreading over earthworks Excavation for road widening, including table drain formation Supply, placement, and compaction of road pavement materials Supply and placement of wearing course Supply and installation of traffic signs Supply and painting of line markings and guideposts Landscaping and making good
