Out of Home Care Services

Overview The Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) is seeking to enter into contracts with one or more suppliers for the delivery of Out of Home Care Services across a care continuum. Scope The scope includes one or more of the following service types: Family-based care, including foster care, kinship care, small-group foster care and specialised foster care Residential care, including small-group residential care, intensive residential care and specialised rostered care Services supporting growing into adulthood Related services Objectives The Department is particularly interested in proposals that could improve care outcomes for children and young people by: Supporting evolution from intensive or residential care toward more independent living or family-based care Improving financial sustainability for the Department and suppliers Contract Terms and Conditions Contract length may depend on service type and proposal Successful suppliers would also be appointed to a broader Panel of providers of Child and Family Services, with a likely agreement term of more than seven years Enquiries Contact: Clare Wiseman and Katie Ault Email: cse@decyp.tas.gov.au
