Overview Flinders Council (TAS) is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to provide roadside mowing and slashing services within the municipal area. Scope The scope includes: Roadside mowing of rural road verges Any additional mowing of roadside verges as requested Any additional hand slashing of grass around posts, poles, beneath and behind guardrails on roadsides in the municipal area as requested Any pruning of standing vegetation of roadside verges in the municipal area as requested Separate prices are requested for the following: Flinders Council rural roads, sealed and unsealed, as per Schedule of Roads (316.11 km) Department of State Growth roads: Lady Barron Rd from Vinegar Hill Rd to Palana Rd (28.41 km) Department of State Growth roads: Palana Rd from Lady Barron Rd to Five Mile Jim Rd (25.7 km) Instructions to Tenderers Quotes must be submitted by Wednesday 30th September to works.admin@flinders.tas.gov.au.
