Exhibition EOI: Berninneit Art Gallery Bass Coast Shire Council is accepting Expressions of Interest for the exciting opportunity to exhibit at Berninneit Art Gallery between 10 April to 29 May 2026. Berninneit Art Gallery is a purpose-built art gallery in the architecturally designed Berninneit cultural centre in Cowes, Phillip Island. Applications are welcomed from artists, curators, collective and organisations operating in both Bass Coast Shire and beyond for a 6-week exhibition in 2027. Gallery Vision The Gallery is a professional visual arts space that brings the best in contemporary art to our region, and which supports and fosters local artists. Attracting residents and visitors alike, it is a curated gallery that is Bass Coast’s first purpose-built exhibition space. The gallery will present curated and touring contemporary exhibitions relevant to our community, and showcase works from Bass Coast artists, Council’s collections and the wider arts sector. We strive to present well-executed and coherent exhibitions that are of the highest quality from emerging and established artists from Australia and beyond. The exhibition programme is designed to present works that support and develop the Arts in the region which in turn fosters a strong sense of local identity and encourages meaningful dialogue and participation from community. The gallery will present a program of high-quality contemporary, regional and First Nations produced exhibitions. The gallery offers a welcoming space for community engagement, exploration and enjoyment of contemporary art and cultural events, where a multi-disciplinary approach to programming allows for new ideas, perspectives and forms in art and culture to cross-pollinate. Please read the Exhibitors Information Pack: Expression of Interest for 2027, available via the link provided, to find out more about applying for an exhibition.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
