This project involves the staged upgrade of the pool plant systems at Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre, comprising a controls upgrade and ozone decommissioning across the indoor 25m pool, outdoor 25m pool, hydrotherapy pool and spa systems, together with filtration system upgrades for the indoor 25m pool and outdoor 25m pool. The works include: Temporary measures to maintain operations where necessary Decommissioning and removal of redundant ozone infrastructure Upgrades to the MechMate control system including PLC and HMI improvements Installation and integration of standalone water chemistry controllers Replacement of filtration equipment for nominated pools including: Filters Pumps Strainers Variable speed drives Associated pipework, valves and manifolds Installation of UV secondary disinfection systems Associated electrical and instrumentation works Flow monitoring Testing Commissioning Operator training Handover Manuals Warranties Defects liability maintenance Exclusion: Spa filter replacement is excluded from this project scope, as it has been addressed under an earlier project.
