About this tender
Overview Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority (GHCMA) is seeking suitably qualified environmental and civil engineering consultants to assess, scope and prepare works plans for seven post-fire waterway recovery sites in the Grampians region. The sites are located on Parks Victoria-managed land, with several also associated with Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water infrastructure. Purpose The work is time critical and will support future procurement and delivery of on-ground recovery works to reinstate or protect waterway function, reduce erosion and sediment risks, and support environmental recovery. Scope The scope includes: Site inspections at the seven post-fire waterway recovery sites Fit-for-purpose survey Engineering condition and risk assessment Stakeholder liaison Options assessment Preferred treatment recommendations Design documentation Preparation of quantities, machinery and materials schedules Construction cost estimates Identification of approvals or specialist investigations required Contractor Requirements Relevant technical capability in environmental and civil engineering Immediate availability to commence the commission Strong project management capability Experience working with public land and waterway infrastructure stakeholders Contract Terms and Conditions Final deliverables are required by Friday 6 November 2026 Tender Briefing An optional online tender briefing will be held for this opportunity.
