Overview The State Sport Centres Trust (VIC) is seeking a contractor to undertake the like-for-like replacement of end-of-life pumps in the pool plantroom at MSAC. Purpose The purpose of this project is to undertake the planned, like-for-like replacement of aging and end-of-life critical mechanical assets associated with pool water circulation and treatment systems. These assets are essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and continuous aquatic operations. The existing pumps and associated components have either reached or exceeded their operational lifecycle, exhibiting significant mechanical degradation and presenting a material risk of failure within a short timeframe. This project aims to eliminate these risks through proactive replacement and restore system reliability to acceptable operational standards. Scope The scope includes the complete removal, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of pumps and associated equipment across multiple pool systems, comprising: Replacement of 4 x Outdoor Pool Circulation Pumps Replacement of 4 x Leisure Pool Feature Pumps Replacement of 1 x Hydrotherapy Pool Circulation Pump Replacement of 1 x Multipurpose HEX Booster Pump Replacement of 7 x Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing Pumps Replacement of 7 x Sodium Bisulphate Dosing Pumps Replacement of 1 x Outdoor Pool Ozone Slip Stream Pump All replacements are to be like-for-like, ensuring: Hydraulic equivalency or improvement Mechanical compatibility with existing infrastructure Minimal modification to existing pipework, supports, and controls
