What the buyer is requesting Details Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Reconstruction of the Lake Boga Netball Courts. Background information / Compatibility requirements Details The existing netball courts at the Lake Boga Recreation Reserve are nearing the end of their functional life. The playing surface exhibits widespread surface cracking and deterioration. Geotechnical investigations identified deterioration within the existing pavement/sub-base layers and varying pavement strength across the site. The proposed reconstruction works have been developed in consideration of the geotechnical findings and recommended pavement treatments. While the courts remain serviceable in the short term, they will not be able to support the ongoing level of use expected for training and competitive play into the future. To reinstate the courts as a reliable community sporting asset, Council will engage a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the full removal and reconstruction of both courts. The project will include renewal of the pavement structure, installation of a compliant acrylic playing surface, updated line marking, and improvements to runoff zones and umpire areas to align with current netball guidelines. These works are necessary to provide fit-for-purpose sporting infrastructure that supports ongoing community participation and ensures the venue continues to meet contemporary standards for local sporting facilities. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
