Overview Melbourne Polytechnic invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from industry organisations seeking to contribute to the delivery of the Future of Housing Construction Centre of Excellence, Modern Method of Construction (MMC) Showcase Building at its Heidelberg Campus. Purpose The Showcase Building will serve as a living demonstration environment, bringing together innovative construction technologies, prefabrication systems, advanced building products, digital construction tools and Industry 4.0 solutions. The facility will support education, workforce development, applied research and industry collaboration, while showcasing practical solutions to improve housing delivery, productivity and sustainability outcomes across the construction sector. This EOI represents an opportunity for industry partners to demonstrate leadership, showcase innovation and contribute to the development of future skills and capabilities that will shape the next generation of housing construction in Victoria and Australia. Scope The scope includes: Participation from manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers, industry innovators and construction sector partners contributing products, systems, equipment, technologies, displays or educational content Showcase and demonstration contributions Potential building integration opportunities, subject to project requirements and approvals Eligibility Industry contributions will be assessed against their alignment with the Centre of Excellence vision, innovation, educational value, product maturity and potential partnership benefits. Selected participants may receive recognition through product identification, building integration acknowledgement and broader industry partnership opportunities associated with the facility.
