About this tender
Overview The Rural City of Wangaratta (RCoW) is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to conduct a condition assessment on its pathway network. Purpose The level of inspections for the Council path network is outlined in the 2025 Road Management Plan (RMP), which states that condition inspections of the path network should be undertaken every five to six years. The current condition data was collected in 2019. To adhere with the requirements of the RMP, Council wishes to undertake a full condition assessment of the entire path network. Scope The scope includes: Conducting a condition assessment of the pathway network, comprising a mix of over 305 km of footpaths, shared paths, bike paths and the Rail Trail network Enquiries All enquiries regarding this opportunity, including the Specification and contract terms and conditions, are to be lodged via the tendering portal no later than 2pm Tuesday, 8 September 2026. Questions lodged after this time will not be responded to. Instructions to Tenderers All responses must be lodged via the online e-Tendering Portal. Submissions received via any other means, including hardcopy, will not be accepted or considered. Incomplete and late submissions will also not be considered. Tenderers must allow sufficient time to upload and submit all documentation, as the e-Tendering system will automatically lock at the Closing Date and Time, preventing partially submitted responses from being completed.
