Further details on the Department of Health can be found https://www.health.vic.gov.au/about Personal Alert Victoria Personal Alert Victoria (PAV) is a personal monitoring service that supports older people and people with disabilities to live independently at home. The program provides a daily monitoring and duress response service, responding to calls for assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to clients across Victoria who are at risk of falls or medical emergencies. More information can be found: https://www.health.vic.gov.au/supporting-independent-living/personal-alert-victoria Under the daily monitoring service, PAV clients are required to press a button on the alarm unit between 6:00 am and 11:00 am each day. If the daily call is not received: The service provider contacts the client by telephone. If there is no response, the client’s nominated contacts are asked to check on the client. For clients without nominated contacts, the PAV Response Service initiates a welfare check through funded agencies. Scope of Services The Department of Health is seeking a supplier to provide services that include, but are not limited to: Installation, maintenance, and replacement of personal alarm units. Provision of daily monitoring services. Provision of 24/7 duress call response, including escalation to emergency services when required or coordination with the PAV response service. The successful tenderer may also be requested to deliver further related services, details of which will be outlined in the forthcoming RFT. Procurement Process A formal Request for Tender is anticipated to be issued in Quarter 2, 2026.
