Provision of Licola – Tamboritha Road – Bitumen Maintenance

Overview The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking a contractor to provide bitumen repair services on Licola-Tamboritha Road, to support DEECA's ongoing work in the maintenance and improvement of its road network. Purpose DEECA is undertaking this procurement to support the delivery of the DEECA roading program. This engagement will contribute to DEECA's broader priorities, including environmental protection, land management and community safety. Scope The scope includes: Potholes: Pothole repair, sweeping loose debris and removing broken edges, applying emulsion to the base and around the perimeter to seal joints and promote adhesion, placing and compacting asphalt, and crack sealing within 5m Driveway thresholds/shoulder repair Section 1: Repair of damaged shoulder and patch/extend specified width at identified locations, including driveway and intersecting track thresholds and transition to seal on Tamboritha Road Block Patch: Asphalt block patching of identified damaged seal, profiling out the existing spray seal and base to a depth of 200mm and filling with compacted hot mix asphalt, with crack sealing of the perimeter and adjacent cracks within 50m
