Provision of Road and Pathway Condition Survey

Overview The City of Casey invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender for CT001098, Provision of Road and Pathway Condition Survey. About Council manages approximately 2,066 kilometres of roads, comprising 1,903 kilometres of sealed roads and 163 kilometres of unsealed roads. Most sealed roads are flexible pavements, with a small number of rigid pavements. Available data indicates that the majority of these roads were constructed after 2000. Objectives The objective of this project is to assess the overall condition of the main Council assets within the road reserve. The project aims to: Assess and report on the physical condition and overall performance of road assets to support ongoing asset management and decision-making Update and improve the currency and completeness of the asset register, including associated geospatial data (GIS, Geographic Information System) Identify, document and report any hazards Scope Provision of a road and pathway condition survey covering Council's road reserve assets Contractor Requirements Demonstrated experience in road and pathway condition surveys for government entities
