About this tender

Overview As part of its Capital Works Program for 2026-27, Banyule City Council is planning to replace the entire roof sheets, gutters and associated works at the Montmorency Hall (Petrie Park Pavilion) located at 16 Mountain View Road, Montmorency, VIC 3094, and the RC Brown Pavilion located at 93 Para Rd, Montmorency, VIC 3094. Scope The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following construction activities. Petrie Park Pavilion Mobilisation and site establishment Setting out the works Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council, Melbourne Water and statutory safety requirements Isolating, removing and carefully storing all electrical equipment, mechanical equipment (equipment, ducts, hangers and exhaust fans), safety rail, safety walkways, vent pipes, antenna and stormwater pipes for reinstallation after the new roofing sheets are installed Isolating, removing and carefully storing all solar panels for reinstallation after the new roofing sheets are installed Removing and disposing of existing roof sheets, vertical wall cladding sheets, gutters, dome and down rain pipes Re-battening the roof line where required Supplying and installing back-flash skylight roof penetrations Supplying and installing Anticon High Performance Roofing Blanket Insulation R3 for a metal roof, including installation of Bradford Roof Safety Mesh for a fall protection system for commercial and industrial metal roofing Supplying and installing new gutters and rainwater downpipes of the same size as the existing ones Supplying and installing new roofing sheets, Klip-Lok Classic 700 in Zink, as per the attached specification, including installing vertical wall cladding using the same materials and metal flashing between the roofing sheets and vertical wall claddings Reinstalling the mechanical equipment, A/C units, ducts, hangers, exhaust fans and vent pipes Reinstalling the electrical work and the solar panel system and testing it, including testing solar system batteries and leaving them on Providing as-built drawings for the solar panels and battery system Reinstalling roof fall protection, safety handrail and safety walkways, including submission of as-built drawings and a certificate for the fall protection Documenting as-constructed information, including all inspections, water testing, testing and survey Site clean-up and handover RC Brown Pavilion Mobilisation and site establishment Setting out the works Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council, Melbourne Water and statutory safety requirements Isolating, removing and carefully storing all electrical wires, AC units, mechanical equipment (equipment, pipes, ducts, hangers and exhaust fans), safety rail, safety walkways, vent pipes and stormwater pipes for reinstallation after the new roofing sheets are installed Removing and disposing of part of the existing roof sheets for the area highlighted in the floor plan in Appendix C, gutters for the same area, dome and down rain pipes Re-battening the roof line where required Supplying and installing back-flash skylight roof penetrations Supplying and installing Anticon High Performance Roofing Blanket Insulation R3 for a metal roof, including installation of Bradford Roof Safety Mesh for a fall protection system for commercial and industrial metal roofing Supplying and installing new gutters and rainwater downpipes of the same size as the existing ones Supplying and installing new roofing sheets, Klip-Lok Classic 700 in Zink, as per the attached specification, including all metal flashing and accessories as required by building regulations Reinstalling the mechanical equipment, A/C units, ducts, hangers, exhaust fans and vent pipes Reinstalling the electrical wires Reinstalling roof fall protection, safety handrail and safety walkways, including submission of as-built drawings and a certificate for the fall protection Documenting as-constructed information, including all inspections, water testing, testing and survey Site clean-up and handover
