About this tender
Overview Mansfield Shire Council is seeking a contractor to deliver the 2026-27 Road Reconstruction and Reseal Preparation Program, maintaining identified sealed roads within the Shire to the standard required under the Road Management Plan. About Council has an ongoing duty to maintain sealed roads to an adequate condition in line with the Road Management Plan. This program forms part of Council's 10-Year Capital Works Program. The Reseal Preparation Program is an annual program completed ahead of the Reseal Program to ensure that the surface and pavement is suitable for a reseal and will last the expected 15 years minimum service life. Purpose This contract forms part of Council's annual Capital Works Program for road renewal and road maintenance. The aim is to improve road safety, ride quality, and long-term serviceability by delivering targeted road reconstruction and reseal preparation works. Scope The scope includes: Scope 1: Road Reconstruction Scope 2: Reseal Preparation Works Scope 3: Asphalting Works Scope 4: Sealing car park (in front of the Vinnies, Mansfield Shop) Scope 5: Drainage Improvement Works Scope 6: Provisional Items, Alternative Asphalting and Reseal Treatment Options
