Scope: The new plant arrangement shall be as per one of the following options: Option 1: New Chillers, cooling only. One new nominal 650 kW chiller with high static fans and integral primary pump. One new nominal 450 kW chiller with high static fans and integral primary pump. Option 2: Reverse cycle chillers/heat pumps (2-pipe) with the following requirements: One new nominal reverse cycle chiller/heat pump with nominal 600 kW cooling / 600 kW heating with high static fans and integral primary pump. One new nominal reverse cycle chiller/heat pump with nominal 400 kW cooling / 400 kW heating with high static fans and integral primary pump. The Chiller Supplier shall be responsible for the detailed design activities listed below and for ensuring that the detailed design undertaken is coordinated with the project design. Check the final install space, and storage space and select equipment to suit available space and to achieve the design requirements. Review structural and acoustic advice provided by the appointed consultants and select equipment that suits any documented constraints. Confirm final equipment locations and storage locations have sufficient space to accommodate access for operation, maintenance, servicing and replacement. Co-ordinate the layout of the new chillers (or heat pumps) with the building layout and structure, and with other plant and services. Comply with the applicable NCC Section J requirements. The Suppliers design obligation shall include: Equipment mounting details and fasteners. Selection of all anti-vibration mountings to suit the particular application of the mounts. Maintenance access locations. Locations of field devices, gauges and the like. Mechanical protection if applicable. Acoustic design or modification of actual selected equipment that may require change, to meet with the noise levels to be achieved.
