About this tender
Overview The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) is seeking to establish a contract with a suitably skilled and experienced contractor for the provision of Weed Control Services across 18 sites located in the Melbourne Metro area, with one future site coming online in 2027 in the western region. Scope The scope includes: Provision of weed control services across the 18 GMCT sites in the Melbourne Metro area, extending to the future site in the western region from 2027 Minimising the visual impact that weeds have on the amenity of GMCT's sites Ensuring weed control across the GMCT sites is managed sustainably Controlling invasive weeds in a safe manner in environmentally sensitive areas Providing well cared for and maintained landscapes for the community, preventing damage to infrastructure that may occur if weeds are not adequately managed Contractor Requirements Suitably skilled and experienced in the provision of weed control services Contract Terms and Conditions Contract term of three years, with the option of two one-year extensions, each exercised at the discretion of GMCT Instructions to Tenderers Tenderers are invited to submit a fixed lump sum price tender, in accordance with the Tender Documents contained within the Invitation for Tender for Weed Control Services.
