Overview The City of Casey invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the delivery of the Wilson Botanic Park Playspace Renewal Project. This project will deliver a safe, modern and accessible playspace that enhances recreation opportunities and visitor experience within Wilson Botanic Park. Purpose The project aims to deliver a safe, modern and accessible playspace that enhances recreational opportunities, visitor experience and inclusivity for the community, while renewing ageing infrastructure and maintaining a high-quality public asset within Wilson Botanic Park. Scope The scope includes: Demolition and removal of the existing playground Supply and installation of new play equipment and surfacing Completion of associated access, civil and landscaping works Provision of all labour, materials, plant and equipment required for the works Construction, commissioning, handover and defects rectification for the approved playspace renewal works Contractor Requirements Relevant experience in the construction of public playspaces, parks or similar community infrastructure projects Necessary resources, capabilities and qualifications to deliver the works in accordance with the approved design documentation and specifications Compliance with applicable safety, accessibility and quality standards Contract Terms and Conditions The proposed contract will be a single lump-sum construction contract for the complete delivery of the playspace renewal and associated access improvements
