3 Year Scaffolding Panel Service

Overview Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) is seeking to establish a three year panel agreement for the supply of scaffolding and associated services at the Port of Geraldton. About MWPA Geraldton consists of seven operational berths, a fishing boat harbour, vacant land pockets external to the port, a rail corridor, and cargo laydown areas. As an operating port, the requirement for both planned and ad hoc scaffold services is essential to the ongoing maintenance of the plant. Currently, all scaffold services are completed under purchase order on a case-by-case basis with separate quotations and associated RFQs. MWPA intends to undertake this work under a formal agreement setting out the expectations of the contractor(s) and MWPA, along with an agreed schedule of rates. MWPA would like to engage a panel of suppliers to provide scaffolding and associated services on Supplier Agreement Terms. Objectives To have a consistent expectation of contracted scaffold providers To have available 24/7 scaffold support to MWPA To ensure all scaffolds being erected and maintained on MWPA sites have been built to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 4576:1995) To ensure all contracted scaffold providers' staff are suitably qualified and experienced due to the intricacies of MWPA's BHF Facility Scope The scope includes: Plant Requirements Supply of all required scaffold Supply of transport for scaffold stillage Supply of vehicles as required Labour Requirements Provision of suitably qualified personnel Provision of supervision on site Provision of engineering studies when required, undertaken by qualified personnel only, with drawings and reports provided in MWPA approved format Carrying out monthly inspection and tagging of scaffolds Provision of inspection reports to the superintendent monthly Provision of copy or original work/task documentation at completion of tasks Completion of a safety report monthly Information Requested Respondents are to complete the provided 'Appendix F - Schedule of Rates' to provide rates for the work types and functions covered by this scope.
