Overview The City of Albany is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to provide a treatment or coating solution for the existing pool deck floor tiles at ALAC. Scope The scope includes: Provision of a treatment or coating solution for the existing pool deck floor tiles that achieves and maintains a minimum P5 slip resistance rating Delivery of a solution suitable for wet areas and continuous operation in a chlorinated aquatic environment Provision of a durable, long term solution providing consistent slip resistance for a minimum period of ten (10) years, without compromising the cleanability, appearance, or longevity of the existing tiled surface Delivery of a solution that minimises future maintenance requirements and operational disruption to the facility Contractor Requirements Demonstrated proven effectiveness of the recommended treatment or coating in similar leisure or aquatic centre settings Relevant experience in delivering comparable treatments in wet, high pedestrian traffic aquatic environments Ability to provide evidence supporting the achievement and maintenance of the required P5 slip rating Information Requested Tenderers are required to submit a comprehensive proposal that includes: Recommended treatment or coating, or alternative recommendations Relevant experience in similar leisure or aquatic centre settings Product specifications Warranty information Evidence supporting the achievement and maintenance of the required P5 slip rating Details of any cleaning or preparation required from the centre prior to treatment Enquiries Contact: David Crosby, Procurement Officer Phone: 0868203173 Email: david.crosby@albany.wa.gov.au
