About The Westport Program is a long-term infrastructure initiative designed to support Western Australia's freight future while enhancing environmental and community outcomes. Purpose Artificial reefs form a key component of the program's environmental and social resilience building strategy, providing habitat complexity, supporting biodiversity, and creating recreational opportunities. Scope The scope includes: Design and deployment planning of artificial reefs located within Cockburn Sound and Owen Anchorage Complementing existing habitat restoration efforts in these areas Improving ecological function within the installation areas Providing new recreational assets for local communities
