Overview The City of Albany is seeking a contractor to construct all civil subdivision infrastructure for the McAlpine Rise Sub-division, in accordance with the finalised Issued-for-Construction drawings (the Contract Drawings), Technical Specifications and Schedule of Quantities forming part of this Request. Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site preparation and clearing: site establishment, erosion and sediment control, retention/protection of nominated trees per the Tree Management Plan (supplied by the Contractor), disposal of contaminated/weed-affected topsoil and mulch, and dust suppression Bulk and detailed earthworks: cut to fill and cut to spoil, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of engineered fill to achieve required lot site classifications, and proof compaction and QA testing Retaining walls: supply and installation of segmental/precast retaining walls to heights of 0.6m to approximately 3.5m, including footings, drainage and backfill, in accordance with certified structural drawings Roads, kerbing and paths: subgrade, pavement construction, kerbing, primer seal and asphalt wearing course, footpaths and shared paths, line-marking and signage, and adjacent road tie-ins (including Stage 1A infrastructure, Bryson Street and Townsend/Sinclair Street connections) Stormwater drainage: piped drainage network, pits, WSUD elements and basins, connection to existing Stage 1A drainage, and overland flow management Sewer reticulation: gravity sewer reticulation, manholes and property connections to Water Corporation standards, including connection to the existing network Water reticulation: water main reticulation, valves, hydrants and property connections to Water Corporation standards Underground power and lighting: underground power reticulation and public/street lighting to Western Power UDS Manual and AS/NZS 1158 standards, including Dark Sky compliant luminaires Telecommunications (NBN): installation of NBN pit and pipe (conduit) infrastructure and associated property connections (reticulated gas is not required due to ATCO Albany network decommissioning) Landscape: installation of all landscaping components outlined in the Contract Drawings provided in Attachment B, including POS works Service crossings (Juniper): installation of service crossings to the Lot 150 (Juniper/Uniting Church Homes) frontage lots as directed, to avoid future road excavation (funded separately under the MOU)
