Design and Construct of Greenfield Street Bridge Replacement

Overview The City of Canning (the Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced design and construct contractor to remove the existing Greenfield Street Footbridge (the bridge) and replace it with a new footbridge. About The Greenfield Street Footbridge was first built in the 1960s over the Canning River, connecting shared paths on the Cannington and Ferndale sides of the river, between Greenfield Street and Willcock Street. The area immediately on each side of the bridge is public open space within the Canning River Regional Park. Residential housing is nearby to the south, but not to the north. Scope The scope includes: Removal of the existing Greenfield Street Footbridge over the Canning River Design and construction of a new footbridge to replace it Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in design and construct contracting for footbridge works Tender Briefing A non-mandatory briefing will be held for this opportunity.
