Overview Webuild S.P.A. (WA), operating as WA Life, is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) in Perth. As Managing Contractor, WA Life is seeking a subcontractor to supply and install toilet partitions and shower partitions, including associated end of trip facility equipment, fittings and fixtures, across designated areas of the healthcare facility. About The NWBHP is commissioned by the Western Australian Government and aims to replace the century old King Edward Memorial Hospital, expanding services and choice for women, newborns and families in Western Australia. The Women and Babies Hospital (WBH) will be built within the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) precinct in the southern suburb of Murdoch, on an essentially greenfield site comprising a new 78,000sqm state-of-the-art hospital and operating campus. The project also includes a major expansion of Osborne Park Hospital (OPH), located in the northern suburb of Stirling, on a brownfield site within the existing OPH precinct. The OPH works involve demolition and expansion of the existing and operational (non-teaching) hospital with complex interfaces. As Managing Contractor, WA Life will complete the design and engineering, procurement, construction, and handover of health care facilities located at FSH and OPH. Scope The scope includes but is not necessarily limited to: Supply and installation of toilet partitions, urinal screens, and shower partitions across all designated areas of the healthcare facility Supply and installation of associated equipment, fittings and fixtures for end of trip facilities Supply and installation of laminate panels that are completely waterproof, impact-resistant, and chemically inert against medical-grade sanitisers Supply and installation of associated hardware including fittings, hinges, latches, wall channels, coat hooks, and floor anchors Coordination of works with all other trades Compliance of all works with healthcare regulatory standards regarding infection control, accessibility, durability, and building codes, including the National Construction Code (NCC) Volume One, relevant Australian Standards (AS), state health facility guidelines (e.g. Australasian Health Facility Guidelines - AHFG), stringent infection control protocols, and required warranties as requested during tender Contractor Requirements HSE Requirements Comply with all regulations and procedures relating to Health, Safety and Environment requirements laid down by Statutory Authorities, the Contractor, and the Subcontractor's own Safety Manual Maintain the highest regard for the health and safety of its own personnel and of the environment Ensure that its activities do not endanger the safety of the Subcontractor's personnel and local communities Take all reasonable precautions for the protection of workers, members of the public, and property that might be affected by the Subcontractor's work/services Information Requested Subcontractors are requested to provide a list of projects demonstrating proven relevant work experience within the last 5 years.
