Port of Geraldton (the Port) is located approximately 430km north of Perth on the northern side of the Point Moore Peninsular (28°46S, 114°36E). The Port includes a 7 berth commercial harbour, tug basin and jetties as well as a Fishing Boat Harbour (FBH) (Figure 1). Facilities are managed by the Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) and have been servicing the midwest as the major seaport of the region since 1840. The purpose of this Request is to provide a clear understanding of the Port’s requirements to enable the selection of a Preferred Respondent. This Request document outlines and refers to the requirements and scope of work to enable competent, capable, and suitably experienced organisations to provide a Response for the Service. Subject to the outcome of final negotiations, the Successful Respondent will be engaged for a term to undertake these works.
