Overview The Shire of Ravensthorpe invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced individuals, businesses and agricultural operators for the lease of Shire-owned farmland adjoining Ravensthorpe Airport for agricultural cropping purposes. Scope The scope includes: Lease of Shire-owned farmland adjoining Ravensthorpe Airport, comprising the designated cropping areas identified in the Request for Tender documentation Permitted use of the land for agricultural cropping and associated approved activities Contract Terms and Conditions Lease duration: Five (5) years, with an option for a further five (5) years Permitted use: Agricultural cropping and associated approved activities Commencement: Proposed for March 2027, subject to Council approval and execution of the lease Rental: Tenderers are invited to submit a competitive annual rental offer, exclusive of GST Eligibility The Shire is seeking a suitably experienced lessee who can demonstrate sound agricultural management practices, responsible land stewardship, and the capacity to operate safely alongside an active airport.
