Reticulated Natural Gas Common Use Arrangement

Overview The Department of Treasury and Finance (the Department) is seeking to establish a whole of government standing offer for CUANRG2027 Reticulated Natural Gas Common Use Arrangement. The proposed Common Use Arrangement (CUA) will enable State Government agencies and approved buyers to purchase natural reticulated gas. About The Department intends to commence the new arrangement immediately following the expiry of Natural Reticulated Gas Supply Common Use Arrangement CUARGS2014. Scope The scope includes: Supply of reticulated natural gas to State Government agencies and approved buyers under the proposed CUA Coverage of areas under an access arrangement, including the Mid-West and South-West Gas Distribution Systems (MWSW GDS) Servicing of Geraldton, Bunbury, Busselton, Harvey, Pinjarra, Brunswick Junction, Capel and the Perth greater metropolitan area (including Mandurah) under the MWSW GDS Revisions to existing structures, with the scope reflecting the business requirements of State Government agencies and approved buyers Contract Terms and Conditions Estimated CUA term of up to 10 years Initial Head Agreement Term of 5 years, with options to extend the term for up to 5 years at the discretion of the Department Instructions to Tenderers It is anticipated that the Request will be advertised and available for download in Quarter 3 of 2026/2027 (Jan to Mar 2027), on Tenders WA. Respondents will be given approximately 6 to 8 weeks to submit an Offer via Tenders WA.
