About this tender
Overview The City of Cockburn is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide shade sail design, supply and manufacture, structural certification, redesign, renewal, and repair and maintenance services. About The City currently maintains approximately 539 shade sails across parks, playgrounds, reserves and community facilities. Scope The Contract will primarily support the replacement of ageing shade sail assets, redesign of existing shade sail structures, repairs to existing assets, and associated engineering and certification services. The scope includes: Design of shade sail systems Supply and manufacture of shade sails Structural certification Redesign of existing shade sail systems Renewal of existing shade sail systems Repair and maintenance services Provision of all labour, plant, tools, equipment, materials, transportation and cartage, administrative and travel expenses, and any other resources, goods or services required to complete the works in accordance with the Contract requirements Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in the provision of shade sail design, supply, manufacture, structural certification, redesign, renewal, and repair and maintenance services Compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018, and able to provide a Modern Slavery Statement when requested as required by the Act Contract Terms and Conditions Initial Contract term of three (3) years from the date of contract award Principal instigated option to extend for a subsequent one (1) year period Further Principal instigated option to extend for up to an additional twelve (12) months thereafter Instructions to Tenderers A full statement of services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specification. Tenderers are required to address all requirements as outlined in the request Tenderers must fully read and understand the Conditions provided in the Conditions of Responding and Tendering and in all documentation provided Failure to comply shall deem a submission non-compliant
