The FPC is seeking to establish a panel of Contractors (the Panel) for the provision of Site Preparation services to service second rotation (2R) and Softwood Plantation Investment Project (SPIP) establishment programs as well as resources for sharefarm cleanup following the expiry of Profit a Prendre (PaP) agreements. For the FPC to promote a sustainable forest industry going forward, harvested plantations are expected to be prepared for the replanting of pine seedlings. The specific services for 1R and 2R are: Site Preparation Services: Post harvest residue/debris windrowing; Post harvest residue/debris heaping; Mounding; Rip-mounding; Ripping; Furrow lining; Bracke Plough; Scalping; Chopper rolling; Mulching and stump grinding; Hand falling; Hot saw; and Grading. Cleanup of the FPC’s sharefarm sites at the expiration of agreements. Specific Services may include: Stump grinding; Heaping; and Windrowing.
