Overview BHP Billiton Iron Ore Pty Ltd (WA) intends to construct, install and commission a 200 kL In-Pit Fuel Storage Facility, known as the Western Ridge (WR) Fuel Facility, as part of the Western Ridge Project. The facility must meet the requirements described in the Statement of Work and comply with applicable Australian Standards and BHP standards. About The WR Fuel Facility will integrate unused equipment purchased under a legacy project for OB25 that was later cancelled. At a high level, the legacy equipment comprises a 200 kL self-bunded fuel tank and some unloading and dispensing equipment, including selected pumps. A condition assessment has confirmed that the existing equipment is suitable for installation. Scope The scope includes: Construction, installation and commissioning of the 200 kL In-Pit Fuel Storage Facility (Western Ridge Fuel Facility) Delivery of the facility using a cost-effective modular design that reduces site works where possible and enables efficient construction of a fully functional fuel facility Integration of the existing legacy equipment, comprising the 200 kL self-bunded fuel tank and associated unloading and dispensing equipment, including selected pumps Maintaining operational flexibility to allow the equipment to be relocated as the Western Ridge mining area develops
