Job details The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking business focused results driven Program Enterprise Architect with skills and experience in the architecture domains Platforms and Cyber security. The successful architect will join the Enterprise Architecture team and support the CapSTAR program, including the Developer Workstation project. The Program Enterprise Architect provides end‑to‑end architectural leadership across the CapSTAR program, ensuring delivery aligns to DAFF’s Technology Strategy, Enterprise Architecture standards, and cyber security obligations. The role has a particular focus on cyber security uplift and leads the Developer Workstation uplift project, driving secure-by-design practices across developer tooling, environments and platforms. Extensive experience as an Enterprise or Program Architect within large and complex transformation programs is essential. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in cyber security architecture, including endpoint, identity, network, and cloud security domains. A proven ability to lead architecture across multi-stream programs is required, supported by strong governance and assurance practices. Additionally, a strong understanding of DevSecOps and secure development environments is critical, along with expertise in endpoint management, such as Intune and device hardening. Candidates should also possess solid knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures, as well as demonstrated experience in delivering technical debt reduction and modernisation initiatives.
