About this tender
This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking a Project Manager to join the Workforce Data Intelligence Unit (WDIU), a team responsible for creating data-driven intelligence to support evidence-based reform of Australia's health workforce. About The WDIU is committed to creating a thriving data-driven culture ensuring workforce data is used to its maximum potential. The unit reports directly to the First Assistant Secretary of the Workforce Division and is led by a Senior Director. The Role Reporting to a Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of identified project/s as directed. The role includes: Delivery of established projects and those related to the procurement of and/or contract management of third-party supplier/s responsible for the design, collection and analysis of workforce data and data governance related projects Developing processes for projects that are in their infancy, where project scope and requirements are evolving Providing direction to team members where required Being adaptive and flexible to emerging work needs Role Requirements Demonstrated history of successfully leading small teams working at the intersection of data and policy Ability to exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and the application of practices and procedures Ability to provide detailed technical, professional, and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems Sound stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills Superior oral and written communication skills to lead and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders Ability to deploy project management tools and techniques to ensure outcomes are successfully delivered
