1 Oracle Database Infrastructure Engineer

Overview Defence Housing Australia (ACT) has a requirement for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator responsible for ensuring the security, availability, resilience, performance, and compliance of the organisation's Oracle database platforms that support critical business systems and services. Purpose As a key member of the Data Operations capability, the role contributes to organisational cyber security maturity, operational resilience, audit readiness, and technology transformation initiatives, ensuring the Oracle database environment continues to meet business, security, and compliance requirements. The Role The role includes: Providing expert technical leadership across Oracle database security, administration, disaster recovery, operational support, and platform lifecycle management Implementing and maintaining database security controls aligned with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight, and Oracle Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Ensuring databases remain secure, compliant, and available to support business operations Contract Terms and Conditions Maximum hourly rate including GST: $192.50 Instructions to Respondents This opportunity has been sent to selected suppliers only.
