This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support AMSA's Enterprise Digital Capabilities project and the Integration Platform project, as well as working with the CIO and IT Managers to provide project management support on ad hoc IT projects. The Role The role reports to the Director, Enterprise Platforms, the CIO, and relevant project boards. The role requires close working relationships with the Canberra build and business teams, and only Canberra based project managers will be considered in this round. Role Requirements First rate project management skills Experience managing outsourced technical project resources Experience with approaches to market to select vendors or resources Contract management experience Schedule accountability Canberra based availability Instructions to Respondents Agencies submitting candidates should note the following: Questions that are already addressed in this guidance will not be answered Questions regarding the rate, budget, or cost margins will not be answered Vendors should price candidates competitively for the Canberra market, as AMSA will determine a suitable average rate based on several sources Candidates submitted above the maximum hourly rate will not be evaluated Timelines for start dates are a guide only; for example, a role stated to start from 1 September does not necessarily start on 1 September 2026, and roles may start later depending on project initiation timelines
