This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Finance (Finance) is undertaking an Approach to Market (ATM) process to procure 1 x Solution Architect (EL2 Equivalent) to support the delivery of the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) Cloudification Project. The Role The Solution Architect will provide specialist architecture expertise to support the delivery of the PDMS Cloudification Project, including the transition of PDMS from legacy infrastructure to a secure, scalable, resilient, and cloud-native Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution. The role includes: Designing and delivering the end-to-end solution architecture for the PDMS Cloudification Project Leading the development of the solution design, ensuring the target architecture aligns with business, technical, security, and operational requirements Providing architectural leadership across application, integration, data, identity, networking, and platform domains to support the migration and modernisation of PDMS Ensuring solution designs align with Australian Government requirements, including the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and relevant DTA cloud architecture standards Contributing to design governance, technical decision-making, and knowledge transfer activities to build enduring agency capability Working closely with the PDMS Team, GSB Architects, Cloud Engineers, Security Architects, project stakeholders, and delivery partners to establish the target-state architecture, support migration and implementation activities, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure successful delivery of the PDMS Cloudification Project Instructions to Tenderers The Department of Finance will not consider or invite additional sellers to this RFQ.
