Overview The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is seeking 2 Associate Provisioning Desktop Support Officers to provide operational support for site setups, asset management, and logistics activities. The Role The Desktop Support Officer role is responsible for receiving, tracking, labelling, storing, and deploying ICT equipment and assets across multiple locations. This includes maintaining accurate asset registers, conducting stocktakes, preparing equipment for deployment, and ensuring assets are correctly assigned and accounted for throughout their lifecycle. Working under general supervision, the role supports the establishment and relocation of work sites, coordinates equipment movements, maintains warehouse and storage areas, and assists with inventory management activities. The position also provides basic ICT support and troubleshooting for deployed equipment, helping to resolve straightforward issues and ensuring users have access to the equipment and resources required to perform their duties. Through effective asset tracking and logistics coordination, the role contributes to the smooth delivery of operational and business outcomes.
