LH-06728 - One (1) Senior Siebel Software Engineer (Developer) Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team. Key duties and responsibilities The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to: • Designing and implementing Siebel configurations, scripting, workflows, and business services; • Investigating and triaging technical issues and providing solution options to the project team; • Understanding of functional specifications and the ability to work with business analysts to clarify solution requirements; • Implementing and adhering to Siebel section standards (including design, development and unit testing standards); • Developing and maintaining key documentation and ensuring they are appropriately stored in the department’s recordkeeping repository; • Providing development effort estimates for changes to existing applications and new applications; • Contributing to broader performance improvements, enhancements, Siebel upgrade, development and debugging; • Providing code reviews and other quality assurance tasks for projects; • Liaising with project team members in other ICT teams, business stakeholders, internal and external users including departmental service providers. Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department’s recordkeeping policy and practices. The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to: Technical Designs including data models and ERD’s; • Unit Testing; • Technical Verification Documents; • Technical training materials; • The Siebel and Support Wiki site including: - Development Standards; - Technical Framework documentation. All deliverables performed by the specified personnel must: • be performed or delivered promptly and without delay in accordance with the timeframes notified by the buyer from time to time; and • meet the assessment and performance criteria set out in any monitoring and performance assessment processes notified to the seller from time to time.
