LH-06771 - Two (2) Manager Delivery Manager Job details Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput. Key duties and responsibilities The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to: • Managing risks and dependencies, using escalation processes to remove blockers and maintain continuous delivery and relentless improvements. • Ensuring work is feasible within the allocated timeframes, whilst considering constraints and risks during planning and execution activities. • Collaborating with Product Owners to maintain accurate, timely and relevant reporting. • Ensuring all project deliverables meet established quality standards and expectations. • Providing servant leadership by coaching and mentoring team members in Agile methodologies, self-organisation, and continuous improvement practises. • Managing multiple tasks effectively, whilst balancing competing priorities and deadlines. • Delivering and maintaining the Deployment Strategy, linking all deployment dependant project activities and dependencies from various streams (both technical and business) into an integrated strategy; • Transforming the deployment strategy into detailed work plans for integration into the integrated master schedule; • Developing and implementing the transition to sustainment strategy and plan; • Executing the approved deployment and cutover plans for implementation; • Working with the Project Director and Project Office Director and form the key leadership to plan, manage and achieve all required governance acceptance; • In consultation with a broad range of stakeholders (both business and technical) proactively identifying deployment risks, issues, mitigation strategies and dependencies and managing them through to conclusion; • Acting as the coordination and escalation point for project streams in relation to potential deployment issues and risks; • Developing positive team ethos within the immediate workgroup through positive participation and communication; • Developing and maintaining strong effective working relationships with key management personnel and internal client base. Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department’s recordkeeping policy and practices. The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to: • Deployment Strategy; • Work plans; • Schedules. All deliverables performed by the specified personnel must: • be performed or delivered promptly and without delay in accordance with the timeframes notified by the buyer from time to time; and • meet the assessment and performance criteria set out in any monitoring and performance assessment processes notified to the seller from time to time.
