LH-06650 - 1 Senior Software Engineer Job details ACIC requires a software developer to support the development of the National Continuous Checking Capability and other critical development work on the National Police Checking Service Support System (NSS). Key duties and responsibilities • The Software Developer is responsible for all significant system / service uplift across the National Police Checking Support System and the National Continuous Checking Capability. • The role is responsible for planning, developing, maintaining and enhancing NSS systems, components and processes. • You will apply technical knowledge in the development, maintenance and operation of the NSS and NCCC. • The role is responsible for developing the NCCC application according to business requirements and direction from the NCCC project team and National Police Checking Service business team. Perform software design, coding, review, and testing on NPCS systems or NPI systems to deliver technical upgrades and/or new features or capabilities on activities including, but not limited to the planned National Criminal Intelligence System (NCIS) transition/integration and other improvements to NPI systems, NSS and NCCC. The ACIC requires specified personnel to: • Obtain the ACIC’s Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to commencement. • Have an Australian Government security clearance (AGSVA) to the minimum of Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) or be willing to undergo and obtain and AGSVA NV1 clearance. • As directed by the ACIC, complete a Deed of Confidentiality or Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to commencement or comply with processes required to engage the Specified Personnel under section 48 of the Australian Crime Commission Act (2002). Note: Seller may be required to meet the cost of any security clearances.
