Overview The City and Environment Directorate (ACT) is seeking a contractor to construct an intersection upgrade at the Taverner Street / Laurens Street intersection, and to construct a refuge island and associated works at 147 Knox Street, Watson. Scope The scope includes but is not limited to: Reallocation of kerb side traffic lanes to deceleration lanes for turn movements A lane add treatment for the left turn movement from Laurens Street into Taverner Street Correction to the left turn slip lane from Taverner Street to Laurens Street Streetlight improvements Construction of a refuge island and associated works Removal of existing kerb and path infrastructure Concrete works
