Overview The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced consultant to provide Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) readiness services, supporting the University's compliance readiness activities ahead of Defence-led DISP assessment activities. About The University currently maintains membership in the Australian Government Defence Industry Security Program (DISP), which supports the University's ability to participate in Defence-related research, funding opportunities and collaborations with Defence and other government agencies. The University is preparing for Defence-led DISP assessment activities anticipated to commence during late October/early November 2026. Purpose The University requires specialist expertise to support compliance readiness activities before, during and immediately following the DISP assessment process. Scope The scope includes: Working with University stakeholders to understand the current operating environment Coordinating the collection of evidence and supporting documentation Assisting with assessment preparation activities Supporting responses to findings arising from the assessment process Assessing the University's current security maturity and identifying areas requiring uplift Coordinating remediation activities Developing a prioritised roadmap to support ongoing DISP compliance and future security improvement initiatives
