This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Requirements The Australian National University (ANU) uses IBM Planning Analytics, also known as TM1, to deliver several core business capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and related financial planning processes. Over time, the Planning Analytics environment has been adapted to meet changing business requirements. This development has involved both in-house resources and external providers. During and following the COVID period, ANU’s performance model also shifted from a primarily revenue-focused approach to one more strongly driven by expense targets. As a result, a number of model components, processes and system artefacts may no longer be required for current business operations. The University is seeking to undertake a controlled review, clean-up and improvement exercise across the Planning Analytics environment. The objective is to identify obsolete or redundant structures, reduce operational complexity, address historical points of failure, and improve the resilience, maintainability and supportability of the budgeting and forecasting platform before the commencement of future budget cycles. This procurement process has been initiated to identify an appropriately skilled, qualified and experienced supplier to provide IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 technical services to support this work.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
