About this tender
Overview The Royal Australian Mint (RAM) is seeking a qualified engineering and industrialisation provider to deliver a comprehensive prefeasibility and feasibility study to inform future manufacturing investment decisions. Purpose The outcome must enable RAM to confidently proceed with the purchase, installation, commissioning and operation of the agreed equipment, process and layout. Scope The scope includes: Development of an end-to-end manufacturing process flow covering the RAM product range of circulating coins, numismatic coins, medals and medallions, and support for an enhanced visitor viewing experience Preparation of a costed range of manufacturing equipment options to inform investment decisions Definition of operating parameters, equipment requirements, digital systems architecture and factory layout Assessment of the performance of each option using a data-driven digital twin Contractor Requirements Potential suppliers must sign and return the Deed of Confidentiality at Annex B to permit the Customer to provide the Customer Materials listed at item A.A.2(h) Contract Terms and Conditions Proposed contract start date: 3/12/26 Contract term: 6 months (3/6/27) Enquiries Contact: Stephen Travis Phone: (02) 6202 3495 Email: stephen.travis@ramint.gov.au
