About this tender
Overview The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) is seeking a supplier to undertake a discovery engagement for the replacement of the National Diagnostic Reference Level Database (NDRLD). About ARPANSA runs the National Diagnostic Reference Level Service (NDRLS), which collects and analyses radiation dose metrics for diagnostic imaging procedures from medical imaging providers across Australia. This information is gathered through the NDRLD, a web-based data portal and underlying SQL database. The existing NDRLD data portal is a legacy system developed circa 2009-2010 and operational since 2011. It does not meet modern cybersecurity and compliance requirements and has limited scalability and maintainability. Purpose The project will review and update the aims and functions of the NDRLD and deliver a list of recommendations to build a replacement portal that aligns with current security, architecture and compliance standards and provides improved functionality and usability for clients and ARPANSA staff. At the conclusion of this project, ARPANSA will have a completed Request for Quote to build a replacement data portal. The build itself is a separate project.
